The 2021er Thörnicher Ritsch Riesling Kabinett “Terrassen” was made from fruit picked at 79° Oechsle in the terraced part in the central part of the vineyard and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (58 g/l)

as it feels  like it belongs to California more so than most other varieties

2023 Hugo Mendes Skin-Fermented Arinto, Portugal Bastian Benny blood orange100% Arinto fermented and aged on the skins for about 6 months, but don't let the length of time on the skins fool you, this is a bright, lightly textured curtimenta that is using its phenolic richness to balance out Arinto's natural wealth of acidity, all while retaining the mineral purity of a fantastic white wine. I'm not sure how he strikes that balance. Like I said, wizard.
