Remusatia hookeriana Clematis our selection originated in pasturelandThis remusatia is native from India to Sikkim, where it is found growing in rich well drained humusy soils or even as an epiphyte on trees or rocks. R. hookeriana is similar to R. vivipara, except for the fragrant yellow flowers that occur before the leaves emerge in spring. The back of each olive green colocasia like leaf is beautifully patterned with dark purple blotches.
